# Activity and search

> Catch up on conversations and find work across your organization.

## Catch up with Activity

Open **Activity** for direct messages, mentions, and thread replies that need your attention. Choose **All** or **DMs**, or open **More filters** for additional categories such as **Mentions** and **Threads**.

Open an item to return to its conversation. You can also use **Review latest activity** to open the newest item.

## Search Vokal

Select **Search Vokal** at the top of the window, or press **⌘K** on macOS. Search for messages, conversations, or a view you want to open.

For example, search for **Tasks** to open the organization task view, or **Drive** to open your files.

Use the search within a task view or Drive when you want to narrow results to that work.
